3795 Boise Ave  Los Angeles, Ca 90066
(310) 567-2708

Peach Tree Pottery is celebrating 10 years in Mar Vista (West Los Angeles) with PEACHFEST, Sunday, June 14th from 11 am to 6 pm.

ART - LIVE MUSIC - FOOD - FUN!!

PEACHFEST will highlight the Pottery Work of Current Students at the Studio and a Retrospective of previous Gallery Artists (Paintings, Photography & Much More) who have shown with Peach Tree Pottery (PTP) over the past 10 years.  PTP Founder/Teacher/Ceramicist Linda Mechanic will show and sell her newest ceramic creations as well.

Friends at Studio-REV (a wonderful local recording studio) and two musicians who live on Boise Avenue are taking charge of the live music portion of the day.  Musicians who have headlined live at PTP in the past are scheduled to perform throughout the event in half-hour sets.  A complete list of performers is being updated on our website daily (go to the EVENTS page), but Billy Yates (The Outlaws/Marshall Tucker Band), Dominic Camanella (Lead Vocalist/Guitarist with The Quarter After) and Stampead are three of the amazing musical acts already committed to PEACHFEST.

Local restaurants and "foodie" friends are rounding out the celebration with great eats.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to The MS Society.

CIRQUE BERZERK, a wild, sexy, decadent and demented alternative circus, that isn't exactly for kids, debuts June 18, 2009, and runs through 4th of July weekend (at least). Cirque Berzerk promises an even more twisted big top experience than ever before, adding several new acts under an even bigger big top. The 35-artist troupe is a tight-knit "family" of professional performers and musicians. Instead of typical circus fare emphasizing live animal acts and wholesome family fun, Cirque Berzerk features jaw-dropping acrobatics, stunning male and female aerialists, sexy, fiery burlesque dancers, gothic stilt walkers, punk rock clowns, and psychedelic vaudevillian tomfoolery.

When:
Cirque Berzerk's three-weekend engagement begins Thursday, June 18, 2009 - with one performance each Thursday at 8:30pm, two shows Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00pm and 10:00pm and two shows every Sunday at 5:00pm and 8:00pm - scheduled to run through Sunday, July 5, 2009. All ages are welcome.
